Considering age and experience on the world stage I think they did very well. I amongst thousands of other thought they would have been out a lot earlier. Here’s to the next time.
Well, Football didn’t come home last night and frankly, I’ve been very worried.
Maybe it will come home, once it has tired of the 45 degree heat in Qatar, in 2022.
I think it was coming home but just as it got to the corner it decided it wanted a kebab so it buggered off to the high street.
They did brilliantly well but the disappointment last night was that for the second half they played like a typical England team instead of the fast, attacking, fuid team they had been for most of the rest of the matches.
To me, it looked like Croatia upped their game in the second half.
Mmmm… kebab.
