There was a story in last weeks’ Metro newspaper, about a woman who unwittingly left her sex toy on display whilst doing a live video interview with the BBC.
Hilarious!
Or is it?
After reading this, the cynic in me began to doubt the story’s veracity.
I mean, OK, I’m not a single woman living on my own (obviously), but if I was, I’m pretty sure I would keep that sort of paraphernalia upstairs in the bedroom and not downstairs on a bookcase.
Personally, I reckon, she might have done it as a dare.
Or, maybe just to get her face even more in the news.
After all, she was on the telly bemoaning the lack of job opportunities and they do say there is no such thing as bad publicity.
Well, good or bad, she’s certainly got plenty of publicity now.
Either way, I hope she can ride it out.
The expression on her face may even suggest that she has 2 of them and she was asking the health sec. how to remove it. 😊
I dunno: to me, she looks like the kind of girl who is quite capable of removing stuff.
Dear Mister Dong. I think you’ll find it’s just a posh paperweight. That’s what my neighbour reckons – Mister Ding.
Thank you Mr Ding, your neighbour is wise beyond his ears.
I vote dare. I used to be on the telly quite a lot as the cheerful face of the road lobby and managed to wear some quite ludicrous earrings at the behest of various friends. Never anything quite this daring though!
Yes, I’m erring on the side of “dare”, too. It seems the most likely explanation.
