Last night, the current Mrs Masher and I went to the pictures.
To see a film.
At the pictures!
You know how much we like going to the pictures, so this was quite exciting for us – the last time we went was sixteen months ago.
I’ll admit to being a little apprehensive, but all the correct measures seemed to be in place and everyone was abiding by them… just like Matt Hancock told us to… before he erm, well, y’know.
It wasn’t that busy in there anyway… only about 10 to 15% full, I would say.
And what did we see? A Quiet Place part II – completely the wrong film for those of us who like to noisily cram popcorn down our gullets. Thankfully, there were some really loud parts too, which allowed me to finish off my family sized bag with impunity.
We’re already booked in to see Fast & Furious 9 (I’ve not seen the first 8, so that should be interesting) and Black Widow, and we saw some promising trailers too, last night, so I’m looking forward to a summer of film fun.
What ever happened to that TV prog. Creature Comforts.
Probably a good stress buster to munch on the popcorn.
Now you can really look forward(well maybe) to shaken and not stirred.
